Our School
Aspire. Believe. Succeed.
Ecole St. Joseph School is a grade 7-12 learning community serving Whitecourt and the surrounding area. We are proud to offer a variety of programming in both English and French Immersion to approximately 345 students. Over half of our student population have identified as Catholic. Our school prides itself on creating an inclusive and caring environment for all our staff, students and our community. Our 2023-2024 enrollment data indicates that 44 of our students identify as Indigenous Peoples of Canada, specifically as Status First Nations, Non-status First Nations, and Metis.
We honour the diversity of our students through programming options, which are designed to promote success in school and preparation for life after high school. Students can access programming in regular stream classrooms, Beyond The Classroom and Knowledge and Employability. Our students are also able to access a variety of courses in Junior and Senior High through Across The Waters Outreach School. We work closely with our school community and local workforce to enhance opportunities for students in Work Experience and the Registered Apprenticeship Program.
